Antinomie 0.3.0 documentation
Antinomie is a native Linux desktop application for observing programs inside a virtual machine. A patched guest kernel records system calls and captured data; the host manages the VM and displays live and saved observations.
These guides describe released version 0.3.0. They cover the desktop application, not the illustrative trace explorer on this website.
Start with one run
Section titled “Start with one run”- Install the host requirements and app.
- Create a VM and run a harmless command.
- Read calls and their captured data.
- Reopen the saved recording.
Pick a workflow
Section titled “Pick a workflow”| You want to… | Read |
|---|---|
| Download a base and choose VM resources | Bases and virtual machines |
| Launch, attach, or capture all processes | Run and trace programs |
| Inspect packet traffic | Network capture |
| Analyze the executable before running it | Static analysis |
| Tune buffering and understand loss counters | Telemetry settings |
| Resolve missing dependencies or startup errors | Troubleshooting |
Understand what the recording means
Section titled “Understand what the recording means”Captured memory is an observation at a point in time. It may be incomplete, unreadable, or changed while being observed. Loss counters and error states matter when interpreting a run. Read compatibility and limitations before drawing conclusions from missing events.
This site publishes documentation. Application release access is managed separately; no application archive is hosted here.
